New personal worst

The longer you've played poker, the harder it gets to set either a new personal best or a new personal worst. I've mentioned before that I get almost as much of a thrill from setting a personal worst as I do from setting a personal best. That may seem strange, but it's the truth. I love setting records of any kind :-)

This is an excerpt from my April 9, 2015 post. My new personal worst: the latest date in a poker year when my aggregate balance for the year got into the black for the first time. The previous worst was January 11, which was in 2011; it's already January 24, and I still haven't gotten into the black yet this year. When I eventually do, that will be the new worst.
