A pair of nines

A pair of nines is not a bad poker hand, but the title of this post is not about a hand. It's about the great result I had last night - I came in ninth in both tournaments I entered. Last night's session strongly resembled the one from two nights before it, which was on July 4th. Once again, I double-tabled an MTT 8-game and an MTT-R NLHE. Once again, I played over one hundred hands in each tournament. Once again, I made the money in both. The main difference this time was that I only got under the lights in the MTT-R NLHE. In other news, my career MTT 8-game balance is now in the black, to the tune of $200,170. Now that I'm on the right side of zero, I want to move away from it :-)
