The last place bounce

It's never fun to come in last, but it does have an upside - it lights a fire under you to do better the next time. Quite often, you get a bounce out of hitting bottom. I just ran the numbers to see how I do in the next tournament after coming in last; here are the results:

place  count
2         19
4         18
1         13
3         13
5         10
6          3

Note that here I only looked at the next tournament's results in the case where that tournament was played in the same session as the earlier one. It's gratifying to discover that my most common last place bounce is to make the money :-)
