yapb

Last night, I achieved yapb - yet another personal borscht. I tied for the best negative ROI for a tournament where I lost money. Here are the top ten:

Recording a negative ROI of less than 100% for a tournament where you've lost money can only be achieved in tournaments where the lowest rungs of the payout ladder fail to cover the buy in. Of course, no one would willingly choose such a tournament, but there's no way to know what the pay table will end up being at the time you join, more's the pity.

yapb

Last night, I achieved yapb - yet another personal borscht. I tied for the highest high chaparral count in an MTT-R NLHE where I failed to make the money - 4. I played well, but fell in on my final hand. Any time you fall in, you're lucky if you survive, and I wasn't and didn't :-)

yapb

Last night, I achieved yapb - yet another personal borscht. I recorded my smallest positive aggregate ROI for MTT-R NLHEs played in a single session. I played two of these tournaments, wagering a total of $300,000, and winning a total of $306,000. That meant my aggregate ROI was a minuscule 2%. As a point of comparison, my largest aggregate ROI for MTT-R NLHEs played in a single session is 4,048% :-)
