Hiding in plain sight

Just before starting this post, I registered in a sit and go 8-game. I've discovered that I still need to register early for this poker style and flavor; last night, I had to wait over an hour and a half for my table to fill up. The good news is, I made the money (so it was worth the wait :-)) I played some MTTs while waiting, which is what I'll do tonight, too.

Every so often I like to look at the ordered list of my average deltas by poker style and flavor. When I did so this morning, SNG 8-game came out on top, with an average of $8,117 won per tournament. Second place went to cash game NLHE, with an average of $6,648 won per session. The top place position for SNG 8-game was a surprise to me, but shouldn't have been; it's been hiding in plain sight for a while :-)
