It's almost always a bad idea to go all in preflop on the first hand of a tournament. I've done that nine times so far in my MTT-R NLHE career, and hit the felt on seven of them. The most recent time was last night. I'm dubbing this foolhardy decision the $100,000 mistake, since I invariably start my tournaments with an immediate rebuy, and so lose two bullets right out of the starting gate.
