8-freq rockets

Here's an excerpt from my "6-freq rockets" post from 2013:

There are 1,326 unique starting hands in hold'em. Six of those are pocket rockets, the best starting hand in hold'em. Therefore, you should expect to be dealt rockets once every 1326 / 6 = 221 hands.

The formula for calculating the rockets frequency factor is as follows:

freq_rockets = num_rockets * 221 / num_hands

Plugging in the numbers from last night's session, freq_rockets comes out to 6 * 221 / 161 = 8.24, aka 8-freq rockets :-) Unfortunately, the superabundant rockets didn't help me enough; I didn't make the money in any of the tournaments I played. I'm due for a big profit one of these days.
