I don't think I've talked about walks before, so let me remedy that. A walk is when you win a hand without having to make a single poker decision. As it turns out, there's only one way this can happen. You must be in the big blind, and everyone must fold around to you, including the small blind. You end up winning the antes and the small blind. Walks are quite rare, since the small blind is almost always getting the right price to call. Last night, I got a walk when I really needed one, being severely short-stacked. I'm dubbing it a hammerwalk, since I had a hammer at the time. A hammer is actually the weakest starting hand in hold'em, seven deuce offsuit. It's named that in irony. Getting a walk when you have a hammer almost feels like cheating :-)
