Dereliction of duty

I came close to making the money last night. I don't know exactly how close, because I wasn't at the table when I hit the rail; I was web surfing instead. That was a dereliction of duty and a stupid thing to do, but there it is. That outcome touches on a behavior change in the PokerStars software I really hate - namely, that a player who falls in while sitting out is no longer allowed to go to showdown. I think every all in player should be allowed to go to showdown, whether he's at the table or not. There's a small but nonzero chance I would have made the money had the old behavior been in play.
