By deciding to play 9max tournaments very sparingly for the rest of the year, I'll be maximizing my chances of coming out in the black, something I've done every year of my career. I've extolled the virtues of 6max over 9max many times before, so I won't enumerate them all again. However, I will call attention to one virtue that I may not have emphasized as much as the others - namely, that 6max tournaments never pay out funny funny money. In other words, the lowest rung of a 6max payout ladder will always cover the buy in plus the entry fee. That's something to celebrate :-)
