The magnificent seven

I dug a little deeper into my poker data and discovered the most interesting factoid of all: the total profit of my seven most profitable sessions is nearly half my career profit! That's amazing, considering I've played 2,435 sessions. What this highlights is how important the outlier sessions are. You'll have to slog through hundreds of mediocre sessions to achieve an outlier, but when you do, it's totally worth it. All hail the magnificent seven!

Last night, I had the best in-session streak of winning hands of my poker career. It wasn't the best because it was the longest, funnily enough; I have one longer streak and another streak of the same length. It was the best because it was the longest winning streak where I was playing against a full table. I won seven hands in a row - the magnificent seven. I was definitely in the sweetness, and stayed there as long as I could :-)
