Tournament poker players live on the edge of an abyss. It's an exhilarating experience. There's no better feeling than making the money when you had no reason to believe you would. Actually, that's not strictly true; there is one better feeling - the feeling you get when you come in first after having had no reason to believe you'd even make the money :-) That's the feeling I had last night.

A postcard from the edge
I'm on the very cusp of setting the two personal worsts I talked about last post. So this one can be considered a postcard from the edge :-) I came as close to stopping the bitch last night as you possibly can, without actually doing it. I bubbled the MTT-R NLHE I entered. Had I made the money, I would only be faced tonight with the prospect of one personal worst on my poker horizon.
