The more players that enter a tournament, the less likely it is that any specific player will become the bubble boy. Of course, there's a 100% chance that someone will be the bubble boy :-) Last night, it was me. There was no midnight train on offer when I logged on. Nor was there a $100,000 tournament. Nor was there a $50,000 tournament. I had to settle for a $10,000 toy train. Toy trains attract more players than tournaments with larger buy ins, and last night's attracted 214. That amounted to 60 paid places. The only time I bubbled a tournament with more players was on April 24, 2020; that tournament had 310 players and 63 paid places.
