The last time I played a cash game was on October 1st, 2015. I may never play another. For better or for worse, I'm a tournament player now. Here's how I've done so far in my post cash world:
sessions: 99
tournaments: 396
number of hands: 20,113
delta: $4,469,040
To be successful at tournament poker, you need to have a strong belief in your abilities. To have a strong belief in your abilities, you need to be successful. This seems like a chicken or egg scenario, but what it boils down to is that you must initially believe in yourself before you have any reason to. Once that has translated into tournament success, then you can believe in yourself more legitimately :-)
